CAF Raises Ticket Prices for Kenya vs Madagascar CHAN 2024 Quarterfinal

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revised ticket prices for the much-anticipated CHAN 2024 quarterfinal clash between Kenyaโ€™s Harambee Stars and Madagascar.

Regular match tickets will now cost Ksh250, up from the previous Ksh200, after an increment of Ksh50. The official update was made on CAFโ€™s ticketing platform on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Fans eager to secure a seat have also been reminded that the next ticket sales will open exactly at 12 pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, according to CAFโ€™s official announcement.

This knockout match is a defining moment in the tournament as Harambee Stars continue their hunt for continental glory.

Government Confirms Fan Zones for Supporters Without Tickets

With tickets in high demand, the Ministry of Sports has confirmed that designated fan zones will be open on Friday, August 22, 2025, to allow Kenyans to watch the game in a stadium-like atmosphere.

Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya praised the success of the six fan parks during Kenyaโ€™s final Group A fixture against Zambia, saying they offered a safe and vibrant environment for supporters.

โ€œI am proud to report that both at Kasarani and across fan zones, there were no incidents of disorder or breaches of CAF regulations,โ€ Mvurya said.

He added that Kenyans had shown they could enjoy football at the highest standards of safety and respect.

The six confirmed fan zones include:

    • Uhuru Park
    • Lucky Summer (Ngomongo, near Kasarani Stadium)
    • Dandora Stadium
    • Utalii Stima Club
    • Jacaranda Grounds
    • Kibera DC Grounds

Mvurya urged fans to show their unwavering support:

โ€œAs Harambee Stars face Madagascar in the quarterfinal, I call on Kenyans with tickets to fill the stadium, while the rest of us cheer from fan zones. Let us all rally behind our national team.โ€
