Kisumu: Woman Dies After Being Pushed Off Balcony In A Suspected Love Triangle
A man and his girlfriend are in custody at Kisumu Central police station in connection with the death of a 22-year-old woman who was pushed from the second floor of a building in Lolwe estate, allegedly due to a love triangle.
Kisumu Central Sub-county police chief Peter Mulai stated that the incident occurred on Monday night following a confrontation between the deceased and the couple.
Mulai suspects the 30-year-old man pushed the woman from his balcony, resulting in her fatal fall.
According to Mulai, neighbors reported that the deceased had confronted the man, 30, after finding him with another woman, 25, which led to the deadly altercation.
The police chief added that the man drove the injured woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. The couple will face charges once investigations are concluded.
