Blood-Stained Pillow: Clue to Imperfect Murder in DJ FATXO’s Bedroom

Homicide investigators who were investigating the murder of interior designer Jeff Mwathi, aged 23, discovered a pillow stained with blood at DJ Fatxo’s apartment.

The detectives, who were from the DCI headquarters, utilized a solution called luminol to identify potential traces of blood on the pillow that would have been invisible through normal observation.

Luminol is a solution that can detect blood that has been diluted by up to 10,000 times.

On Friday, the homicide investigators in charge of the case declared that Jeff was murdered and had not committed suicide as previously believed.

They speculated that there may have been a struggle before Mwathi was dragged outside and thrown off the rooftop or the staircase of the 12-story apartment building.

The investigators ruled out suicide and believed that Mwathi was killed before he was thrown off the building, in an attempt to conceal the crime and make it appear to be a suicide.
