Betrayed or Busy? Why Mudavadi & Wetangula Missed as Ruto, Raila Sealed Political Deal
On Friday, President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga signed an important agreement to work together. However, two well-known leaders were missing from the eventโPrime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.
Their absence from the signing ceremony, which took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), made many people curious and led to speculation about their position on the deal. Some wondered whether they supported the agreement or not.
However, a fact-check by Gossipa2z.comconfirmed that Mudavadi and Wetangula were engaged in other official duties at the time.
Mudavadi started his day by attending a Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting at State House in the morning. The meeting, chaired by President Ruto, brought together leaders from the ruling coalition. During the session, the legislators agreed to support the cooperation agreement between the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
