BBC Sacks Top Kenyan Journalists
Anne Ngugi and Judith Wambare have been dismissed from their positions at BBC Africa by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
In a message to staff on Sunday, April 21, obtained by Gossipa2z.com, the BBC announced that the two experienced journalists will no longer be working for the international media organization.
The media organization stated that they would provide additional information about the dismissal at a later time.
“Anne Ngugi and Judith Wambare have been terminated from BBC. An official communication will be shared later. If you have any queries or you want any clarification kindly do contact HR,” the message reads in part.
Ngugi, formerly with K24 TV, became part of the BBC team in May 2018. Conversely, Wambare started working at the media outlet in 2016.
