The most recent autopsy report found that out of the thirty bodies that were examined on Tuesday, May 2nd, four of them showed signs consistent with homicide.

According to Citizen TV, the Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor said that an examination of the four bodies revealed that the causes of death as strangulation, smothering, and blunt object trauma.

Oduor revealed that out of the four bodies, two of them were children. And that one of the children had been hit on the head with something blunt, while the other had been strangled.

The two other victims were both adults, and both succumbed to asphyxia. Which is a condition that occurs when oxygen is purposefully denied to a person.

On the neck of one of them, we could make out what appeared to be rope marks. In addition to that, we found several broken bones in the neck. We do not doubt our minds that this child was the victim of suffocation death. According to Oduor, the findings also showed that two of the victims had their deaths caused by suffocation.

However, the autopsy report indicated that starvation was the cause of death for the remaining victims. Except six people whose cause of death could not be determined.

“There were a total of eight males and 22 females among them. We performed autopsies on a total of nine children and 15 adults. Because of the advanced state of decay in their bodies, we were unable to determine with absolute certainty whether or not six of the individuals were adults,” Oduor continued.
