Manchester United’s attacking pair are looking forward to linking up in the future after a promising cameo.

The match officials decided against Manchester United at the weekend with Alejandro Garnacho‘s late goal chalked off.

However, the goal and few minutes that preceded it were a tantalizing glimpse of an exciting young United attack, spearheaded by new signing Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund is a traditional center-forward who embraces the physical side of the game, in addition to being lightning-quick. He will pose a real problem for defenders.

Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund pairing

We wrote in early August how the pairing of Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund has the potential to become one of the most exciting in world football, certainly one of the quickest.

After just a few minutes on the pitch together and a handful of training sessions, the pair are excited about it too.

Garnacho wrote a message to Hojlund on Instagram, promising the pair ‘will be back, together’, adding in their new Manchester United squad numbers.

Extra motivation for Manchester United pair

The young Manchester United duo will be extra keen to kick on, fuelled by their perceived injustice of the result against Arsenal.

Garnacho’s goal should have stood, while there were calls for Hojlund to have been given a penalty after he was fouled by Gabriel.

The pair have sky-high potential and will want to start banging the goals in. It will be great to see them link up and forge a partnership to build around.
