South Africa’s Malema Urges Raila to Cease Protests in Kenya

Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), an opposition party in South Africa, has made headlines by criticizing Raila Odinga, the leader of the opposition party, for leading rallies against the government.

The outspoken politician who spoke on Saturday during the EFF’s 10th Anniversary Rally emphasized that President William Ruto was democratically elected in the Presidential Elections of 2022 and that Odinga should not seek to destabilize his government. The rally was held in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the EFF.

As a result, he appealed to the chief of the Azimio tribe to put an end to the demonstrations so that peace might be restored throughout the nation.

“We want to make a call to Kenya, especially to comrade Raila Odinga; stop doing what you are doing,” He said. “We want to make a call to Kenya.” He warned.

“The president, William Ruto, was democratically elected, and I will not permit you to use the people to disrupt the peace in Kenya,” he said. “I will not allow you to use the people to disrupt the peace in Kenya.”

In the past, the well-known activist has stated that President Ruto won the election and has requested that the former premier accept the loss.

After President Ruto’s win the year before, he also sent a note of congratulations to him in writing.
