Kenya Kwanza Leaders to Sue Raila Odinga for Damages and Loss of Lives in Protests

A portion of Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders have pledged to sue Raila Odinga. For the destruction of property and loss of life.

The leaders argued that the protests were intended to sabotage the economy and threatened to pursue legal action to hold the protest organizers accountable for any property damage. The leaders of the Kenya Kwanza alliance aimed their weapons at the opposition, labeling them economic saboteurs.

“We’ll not tolerate any political violence. We will not tolerate particularly violent demonstrations of any kind. We will no longer tolerate coercion. “The Kenyan people have spoken, and they will not speak again,” said Kiharu representative Ndindi Nyoro.

    Raila Odinga must pay

Geoffery Ruuku, member of parliament for Mbeere North, stated that protesters and those whose lives are devastated have the same rights.

Ruuku stated that the demonstrators responsible for the loss of life and devastation of property must be held accountable.

“They are operating the government to overthrow President William Ruto’s government, destroying the property and lives of the people. We want to assure you that if you organize violent demonstrations that destroy infrastructure and private property, you will be held accountable.”

“You will bear responsibility. You are responsible for this devastation. Ruuku stated, “You will pay for the disorder you are causing because the other party has equal rights.”

The leaders urged the former president and leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, Uhuru Kenyatta, to end the disorderly demonstrations.

William Ruto: I have no difficulty with Raila holding demonstrations.

Raila Odinga, leader of Azimio La Umoja, has called for nationwide protests. The head of state has stated that he has no objections to this.

Ruto stated in an interview with France 24 on Friday, June 23, that the ODM leader’s protest was part of politics in a democratic society.

Ruto explained that his only concern regarding the protests was that the former prime minister should prevent the devastation of public property.
