Government to Seize Uhuru and Raila’s Cars – Ichung’wah

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah demanded the withdrawal of former President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s government vehicles on Friday, July 14.

The Kikuyu lawmaker lamented during the inauguration of development projects in Nakuru County that the duo was using government resources for anti-government demonstrations.

In the company of Ruto, he lamented that the government was incurring losses due to the vehicle damage.

In addition, he claimed that Uhuru seized the majority of the State House’s vehicles after leaving office, proposing that they be confiscated.

“In our democracy, you can no longer ride on our backs to undermine a legitimate government.” You (Uhuru) must concede defeat. We have no fear of you,” stated the lawmaker.

All of these vehicles should be seized.

Recent disturbances have resulted in damage to Raila’s vehicles, allegedly caused by police gunfire. On the other hand, Uhuru has not yet attended the protest.

Ruto refrained from addressing the issue. However, he chose to attack his erstwhile allies for disrupting the nation and sabotaging the economy.

The Head of State confirmed that the government would be prepared to address the upcoming week’s protests.

“These demonstrations will not occur. Carefully heed my words. In Kenya, it is unconstitutional to seek authority through unconstitutional means. Wait until 2027. I will defeat you once more, Ruto vowed.

Meanwhile, Azimio announced that three days of anti-government demonstrations will begin on July 19.

“Effective immediately, the peaceful protests will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week, by public requests for three days of activity,” read a portion of the statement.
