Ruto Challenges Raila: Azimio Demos Cancelled!

President William Ruto has sworn not to permit Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio la Umoja, to use the blood of Kenyans to seize power.

Ruto stated on Friday in Naivasha that he will use any means necessary to stop the opposition leader.

“Raila Odinga, I will not permit you to pursue power at the expense of Kenyan lives. “I will stop you,” he declared.

President Ruto responded to Azimio’s announcement that their protests will now continue for three consecutive days commencing next week.

The head of state also criticized Raila for attempting to enter the government through unconstitutional means, insisting that this will not occur.

Ruto has previously stated that there will never be a salutation between him and Raila.

“Extra-constitutional means cannot be used to attain authority. You wish to use violence to enter the government; this will not occur,” he continued.

Wednesday will not feature any demonstrations. This is impossible because this man (Raila Odinga) has introduced chaos to this country, resulting in numerous deaths. Ruto stated, “He continued to interfere with the administrations of Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta, and he recently led protests that destroyed property.”

“I want to assure you that I am going to follow you down this path, and I will not allow it to occur.”

On Wednesday, Azimio protests across the country resulted in at least nine fatalities. However, it is believed that the number is greater.

The group commanded by Raila announced on Friday that the anti-government demonstrations will continue for three days the following week.

According to Azimio, the protests will occur on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in response to requests from all sectors.

Raila stated on Thursday that the demonstrations will occur regardless of whether the government issues a permit.

Raila stated, “Whether the government likes it or not, there will be nationwide demonstrations next Wednesday.”
