Brown’s Food Company Apologizes, Suspends Officials Over Forced Stripping

Brown’s Food Company’s management has suspended three senior employees after learning that one of its managers forced female employees to undress to determine who was on her period.

The bizarre occurrence was preceded by the discovery of a used sanitary towel in the incorrect bin at the cheese factory of the company.

In a statement released on Thursday, Brown’s top management expressed shock and dismay that such an incident occurred right under their noses, even though the company is pro-woman.

“As soon as the matter was brought to our attention, the individuals involved were suspended,” reads a portion of the statement obtained by Citizen Digital.

“We have apologized to the affected women and would also like to apologize to the general public.”

In addition to characterizing the incident as isolated, Brown’s management has initiated internal investigations into the matter and hired a third-party HR firm to conduct the investigation.

“Brown’s has formal HR policies and systems in place, and this incident does not reflect the procedures of the Company as a whole,” the company stated.

“The Company has contracted with a third-party HR firm to provide all employees with the opportunity to discuss the matter with an external party. We are also working with experts in women’s health and sensitization to ensure that our policies and training prevent a recurrence of this incident,” the statement continued.

Thursday saw the arrest of the company’s Quality Assurance Manager, Human Resource Manager, and HR assistant, following news of the incident.

Friday is the scheduled date for their arraignment.
