CCTV Bust: Man Caught Breaking Into Lover’s Home

Residents of a Nairobi apartment were outraged after a break-in occurred on Sunday, July 2 during the day.

One of the neighbors revealed to Gossip2z that the suspect bypassed the caretaker and was able to break into the woman’s home when the CCTV cameras were not operational.

The suspect climbed to the third floor of the apartment and paced back and forth while attempting to peer inside.

He then pounded for hours on the door, shattered the window, and climbed through the gaping hole. However, he was unable to locate the woman and decided to set up camp at the residence.

Infuriated neighbors gathered and decided to wait outside the suspect’s residence. Minutes later, he was apprehended while attempting to escape through a window.

Later, officers dispatched to the scene apprehended the suspect.

One of the neighbors also asserted that the suspect conspired with one of the security guards, who tipped him off that the woman was in the house with another individual.

At the time of the burglary, however, the woman was visiting her parents.

Others advised the woman to obtain a restraining order against the suspect.

The news resembles a similar incident in which CCTV cameras captured a spate of home invasions in Syokimau.

Monday, June 19, CCTV cameras captured the suspects in the act of stealing multiple items of unknown value.

The three thieves initially targeted a vehicle parked in front of a residence, seizing the opportunity to steal valuables left unattended in the vehicle.

The thieves approached the house with composure as they carried out their mission, oblivious to their surroundings. Minutes later, they exited and made their way to a getaway vehicle.

A portion of Kenyans asserted that the robberies were inside jobs, raising concerns for the safety of the residents and their property.
