Unveiling Burial Permit: Shocking Revelation Exposes Mackenzie’s Cult as Authorized Burial Conductors

A burial permit dated January 28, 2022. Obtained by GossipA2Z reveals how Mackenzie was granted permission to conduct burials for his murderous cult.

The burial permit with serial number 1722406. Was issued to one Evans Sirya and bears the signature of the then Makongeni Sub Location Assistant Chief, Raymond Charo. Who is now the Chakama Location Chief.

However, Nation is unable to independently confirm who Evans Sirya was. Whether he was related to Sylas Omondi Otieno, or even if they are the same person. As Mackenzie’s followers changed their names after moving to Shakahola.

It appeared that you could obtain a burial permit. By submitting a brief letter explaining why you required the permit and a copy of your identification card.

In this instance, Sylas Omondi Otieno requested a burial permit to bury his wife, Zilpha Adoyo Mwande.

“Mimi Bw. Sylas Omondi Otieno,” read the letter dated January 28, 2022.

It loosely translates to “I, Mr. Silas Omondi Otieno, confirm that Mrs. Zilpha Adoyo Mwande is my wife and that she died at 1 am this morning at Shakahola village in Makongeni sub-location… I have decided to bury her today January 28, 2022, here at home without going to the mortuary within 24 hours. On the way, she observed that a man they had seen at Mackenzie’s residence earlier had passed them on a bicycle.

“I still believe that the person on the bicycle was sent to warn my family to leave the house because when we arrived there were shoes, clothes, and food being prepared for the children. It appeared as though they had left in a hurry,” Ms. Anyango stated.

She located the burial permit after a thorough search of the home. She is currently seeking justice and has no idea when she will next see her daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

Mr. Raymond Charo, the then-Assistant Chief of Makongeni Sub-Location, declined to comment when contacted about the allegations.

“I am unable to comment on burial permit matters, as I have submitted all of my reports to the Coast Regional Commissioner,” he stated.

According to GossipA2Z, the same topic of the state approving burial permits for Mackenzie was discussed during public hearings by the Senate ad hoc committee during its two-week tour of Kilifi County.

The Senate established the Ad Hoc Committee on the Proliferation of Religious Organisations. Chaired by Senator Danson Mungatana of Tana River. To investigate the circumstances under which members of Kilifi cult leader Mackenzie died in Shakahola forest. As well as the role religion played in the entire saga.

“The permits presented to the committee were stamped by the Deputy Chief of Makongeni Sublocation of Chakama Location, whose jurisdiction encompasses Shakahola Forest, where Mackenzie’s cult was located. A source familiar with the deliberations told GossipA2Z that the permits indicate that the two deaths were the result of natural causes.

However, it was impossible to determine whether the burials had been reported to the registrar of deaths. So that a death certificate could be issued. Similarly, it was impossible to determine whether the Assistant Chief had shared the information with his superiors when he issued the permits.

It is also believed that the security officials who testified before the committee. Refused to discuss the Shakahola matter in detail, claiming that an investigation was still ongoing.

GossipA2Z was informed that the county security chiefs, the majority of whom are newly appointed, refused to discuss the matter substantively because they were new to the station.
