Museveni’s Shocking Ultimatum: 18-Page Order to Expel Kenyans from Uganda
Yoweri Museveni, president of Uganda, demanded that the Kenyan government comply with his demands. Or the Turkana people living in Kenya would be deported within six months.
In Executive Order Number 3 of 2023, an 18-page document viewed by GossipA2Z. Museveni expressed his displeasure that his leniency in allowing the Turkana community to graze in Uganda was met with hostility. Because he claimed they brought firearms into the country.
This, he added, led to an increase in criminal activity in the Karimonjong region. Including the theft of 2,245 cattle from Ugandan residents.
“I ordered these Turkanas to never bring firearms into Uganda eons ago.” They should simply come without weapons to graze their cattle.
“However, they did not pay attention. Instead, they raided our disarmed Karimonjong, killed and raped individuals, and so on. According to reports, they stole 2,245 cattle from the Jie. They murdered our three Geologists, one Officer, and one soldier who was protecting them. This Turkana nonsense must immediately cease,” he stated.
Museveni demanded that the government of President William Ruto hand over Turkana herders accused of murdering Ugandan geologists for a murder trial.

The guns were returned to the Ugandan government, but the murderers were not.
Once brought, the killers should perform a traditional ritual for the bereaved families in which they are required to produce several cows equal to the deceased’s lifetime contributions.
In the case involving the theft of 2,245 cattle, the Ugandan president stated that Turkana should compensate for the same number of stolen animals.
“Through the coordination of the governments of Kenya and Uganda, the Turkana must return to the victim communities several cattle equal to the number of cattle they stole from the victim communities.
“Caution should be exercised in this instance because our people may be exaggerating the numbers. “To simplify the task of identifying cattle, the governments of Kenya and Uganda should coordinate cattle branding to indicate the district and sub-county of their respective cattle populations,” he continued.
In addition, he warned that Turkanas who cross the border with firearms risk arrest and terrorism charges brought by a military court.
The president of Uganda gave the Ruto administration six months to comply with the directives. Failing which his government would expel all Kenyan Turkanas and their livestock.
In addition, it would be prohibited for Turkanas to re-enter Uganda with their animals.
