Moses Kuria Warned for Inciting Revenge over Torching of PSV Bus During Azimio Demos

After a Public Service Vehicle was set on fire along Ngong Road, Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria made a comment that has since been deemed controversial.

Several Kenyans have contacted the CS, urging him to allow the relevant investigative agencies to look into the matter.

After the opposition resumed their protests against the government, goons set fire to the PSV bus, reducing it to ashes in the process.

After threatening retaliation for the arsonists who set fire to a public service vehicle, Moses Kuria, the Cabinet Secretary for Trade in Nairobi, has received a great deal of criticism for his actions.

The demonstrations that were called for by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party took place on Tuesday, May 2, along Ngong Road. During the demonstrations, police and rowdy youth engaged in running battles, which resulted in the burning of the minibus.

The outspoken CS issued a controversial tweet in which he made the statement that he will instigate revenge, which he said would be swift and in corresponding measures.

“Vengeance will come quickly and in proportion to the wrongs done. This is going to be the final one. I solemnly promise,” said Kuria.

However, the tweet that was sent out by the outspoken CS was criticized by several Kenyans, and Kuria was accused of trying to incite Kenyans.

The majority of Kenyans petitioned the CS to give investigative agencies the authority to look into the matter and bring the thugs to justice.

GossipA2Z takes a look at a selection of the opinions expressed by Kenyans;

Cornelius K. Ronoh “Your goons. You know them. The same goons you hired together with Gachietha and Ichungwah to invade Northlands farm and EA Spectre Limited.”

MUTUA LOYD “Waziri don’t incite Kenyans.” Low Carb Coach “Is it revenge or the law? What’s our CS becoming? I had to look at the bluetick.”

African Out “You know them, it so just happens the bus was in the middle of the road, full of youths (only males) and no number plate. watu si wajinga buana! It will soon catch up with you.”

Mihadaratiwewe “And it didn’t have any number plate… Yaani Gachietha hatosheki.”
