Francis Atwoli urges Ruto to find job for Raila Odinga: ‘Asisikumwe Sana’
Francis Atwoli, the head of the COTU, requested that President William Ruto. Find Raila Odinga a position befitting a national leader.
Atwoli opined that Raila should be recognized as a national leader. And given a position comparable to the one he held at the African Union.
He suggested that, if no international position is available. The president should consider appointing him as board chairman of a government agency.
Francis Atwoli, the head of COTU, has requested that President William Ruto offer Raila Odinga a job to defuse the political tensions between the two leaders.
Due to his contribution to Kenya’s democracy, the trade unionist who spoke at today’s Labour Day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens said Raila should be offered a high-ranking position.
At Uhuru Gardens, Atwoli stated that Raila should be recognized as a national leader and given a position comparable to the one he held with the African Union.

As shown in a video, he stated, “We should find him a job, even if it is similar to the position he held as head of infrastructure for the African Union.”
Atwoli compliments his wife Mary Kilobi
At the same event, Atwoli made his audience laugh by revealing that his wife, Mary, handles his affairs.
Francis Atwoli stated that his wife, Mary Kilobi, takes care of him and organizes his personal affairs.
According to Atwoli, the news anchor keeps him clean and takes care of his affairs, from his attire to his diet.
“Mimi si kijana ata mkiona bibi yangu Mary ni m-young. Mary kazi yake ni kuona socks iko namna gani, shati yangu ni safi. Saa ya kumeza dawa imefika sababu siweziandika mfanyi kazi. Yeyey ndo anaangalia saa yangu ya ndege imefika, passport yangu iko namna gani,” he said
