According to the statistics found on YouTube, the newest generation of Bongo Fleva music from Tanzania, Diamond Platnumz, has stunned and trampled Nigerian artists after beating them all.
The African musician who just arrived in Germany for his big show this coming Saturday uploaded some new statistics that compare musicians from all over the African continent in terms of how they perform on stage.
These statistics show that Diamond is the most popular African artist on the video platform, and his songs have received the most streams.
Diamond has been active in the music industry for more than ten years, and he is currently the most popular artist on YouTube, with 2.14 billion views.

Burna Boy, an artist from Nigeria, is the one who comes closest to Diamond in terms of the number of views he has amassed on YouTube: 2.05 billion.
The artists who come in second place are from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nigeria.
While Wizkid has 1.67 billion views on YouTube, Fally Ipupa, a new-generation Rhumba artist from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has 1.40 billion views, and Davido, who is on the rise with his new album Timeless, rounds out the top five with 1.29 billion views.
Diamond has continued to play on the video platform despite the widespread belief, particularly among Western artists, that they do not pay much attention to the number of views or subscribers that their videos receive on YouTube due to the widespread belief that revenue from the platform is still very low.
As a result of this, a great number of musicians are currently shifting their focus to other platforms, such as Boomplay, Audiomac, Spotify, and others.
These platforms typically do not host videos, and the revenue they generate is significantly more competitive than that of YouTube.
