Ruto threatens to fire half of the govt administrators: Gachagua’s ultimatum

Saturday, April 29th, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua issued a warning to administrative leaders across the nation.

During the homecoming and thanksgiving service for Principal Secretary of the State Department for Forestry Ephantus Kimotho in Ngong, Kajiado County, the DP announced that fifty percent of the administrators were facing termination.

This was a result of their inability to contain drug and alcoholic beverage abuse within their administrative units.

“We are willing to fire fifty percent of you if you do not address this issue. We will not transfer any assets.

“If an Officer Commanding Station (OCS) or commissioner cannot deal with the issue of drugs, we will also relieve him of his duties,” he cautioned National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs).

The DP disclosed that President William Ruto fully supported the proposal to dismiss NGAOs.

“The President and I cannot stand idly by as an entire generation perishes. We will take action within fourteen days,” he revealed while declaring Ruto’s position on the matter.

The DP stated on the 14-day ultimatum, “Drugs and chiefs cannot coexist in the same location.” By Sunday, May 14, 2023, you must report to my office that you’re drug- and alcohol-free.

However, the DP provided administrators with a strategy to avoid dismissal after the expiration of the two-week notice.

He explained that this could be accomplished by the assistant chiefs, chiefs, and OCS exchanging lists of drug and illicit liquor dealers.

The DP has been on a mission to eradicate illicit brew, particularly in the Mt Kenya region, because it has robbed many young Kenyans of their dreams.

On Saturday, April 15, the Democratic Party launched an anti-drug and alcohol abuse campaign in Mount Kenya.

“Those who produce illegal alcoholic beverages that destroy future generations are worse than murderers.” In the coming days, this region and the rest of the country will feel the government’s influence.

During the launch, the DP stated, “Either drug and alcohol abuse or you security agents will leave this region.”
