Mother Accused of Killing and Eating 2-Year-Old Detained for 10 Days
A woman who is facing charges of murder after allegedly killing her two-year-old daughter by cutting her up with a knife and then eating parts of her internal organs has been ordered to be detained by a court in Kajiado.
The court made this decision after hearing the allegations.
Olivia Naserian is accused of killing her daughter Glory Njeri at their home in Kitengela’s Milimani Estate on Sunday, then eating her daughter’s internal organs before neighbors alerted the police, who then arrived at the scene and arrested her.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Naserian was brought before Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau on Tuesday, and she issued an order requiring that she continue to be held in custody by the police for another ten days.
This will allow the police officers to finish their investigations.
On May 8, Naserian is scheduled to make his appearance for the hearing.
During this time, the deceased body of her daughter was transferred to the main hospital morgue in Kitengela.
