Raila Odinga condemns Rigathi Gachagua’s Arrest of Alcoholics in Mt Kenya
Vice President Rigathi Gachagua is determined to end the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages in the Mt. Kenya region, which he deems a threat to future generations.
Recently, the second-in-command convened a meeting of security officers at which he announced a massive crackdown on the sale of illicit alcoholic beverages in the region.

In a multisectoral meeting on eradicating illicit brew in Central Kenya, the second-in-command lamented that the sale of illegal substances has become so widespread that youths no longer fear selling prohibited substances in public.
