Last Words of Pentagon Leaker Jack Teixeira: ‘God Can Decide’ Amid Family’s Military Ties and Troll Gamer Pals
Before he was arrested by FBI agents, PENTAGON leaker Jack Teixeira called his gamer friends in a panic.
Thursday, a 21-year-old US Air National Guardsman was arrested at his home in Dighton, Massachusetts, on suspicion of sharing top-secret US documents.
Before his arrest, Teixeira hurriedly joined a call with fellow members of a modest online gaming community.
A New York Times friend said it sounded like he was in a fast-moving car.
Teixeira reportedly told them, “Guys, it’s been good – I love you all.
“I never wanted it to get like this. I prayed to God that this would never happen.
“And I prayed and prayed and prayed. Only God can decide what happens from now on.”

Teixeira was subsequently arrested on Thursday and is scheduled to appear in court on Espionage Act of 1917 charges.
In a forested area, news helicopter footage showed a suspect in red shorts with his hands behind his back being loaded into an unmarked sport utility vehicle by heavily armed agents.
Attorney General of the United States Merrick Garland stated that Teixeira was arrested “without incident” and will make his initial court appearance.
It has since come to light that he served in the same Massachusetts Air National Guard wing as his stepfather, Master Sergeant Thomas Dufault, before his retirement four years ago.
Teixeira joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard’s 102nd Intelligence Wing and served as a member of the intelligence wing.
Outside of work, Teixeira allegedly supervised a Discord group called Thug Shaker Central in which approximately 30 individuals — mostly young men and teenagers — shared a passion for firearms, racist memes, and video games.
However, the conversation briefly veered toward the conflict in Ukraine.
Then, Teixeira allegedly sent the group a plethora of seemingly authentic, top-secret US government information.
This was one of the earliest occurrences of the Pentagon Papers, which were leaked from the ostensibly secure nerve center of the United States intelligence community.
Since then, the bizarre online disclosure has snowballed into the direst national security crisis the United States has faced in years.
The leaked documents, which were shared on Discord, Twitter, and Telegram, detailed US and NATO plans to assist Ukraine in preparing for an offensive against Russia in the spring.

They reportedly contained sensitive information, such as charts and details regarding weapon deliveries and battalion strengths.
The leak sparked rumors that Vladimir Putin has cancer, one of the worst US intelligence breaches.
Doctors say the Russian leader’s inner circle may be plotting against him while he undergoes chemotherapy.
The leaked military documents revealed that a malfunctioning missile prevented the Russians from shooting down a British spy plane.
The Russian jet pilot believed he was authorized to fire over the Black Sea, according to the report.
Thankfully, the missile malfunctioned, preventing a potentially catastrophic incident.
The documents also contained information suggesting that China has secretly launched a hypersonic missile capable of defeating U.S. defense systems.
On February 25, China’s experimental DF-27 hypersonic glide vehicle flew 1,500 miles in 12 minutes.
