Mob Burns Man Alive in Kisii After He Confessed to Killing and Cooking His Wife, And Serving Her to His Children
A 50-year-old man from Sungubo village in Kisii County was burned to death by an angry mob after he admitted to killing his wife and cooking her body.
The man, identified as Stephen Onserio, confessed to brutally murdering his wife. Shockingly, he told locals that he cooked parts of her body and fed them to his children. The horrifying revelation sparked outrage in the community.
Nyamache OCPD Kipkulei Kipkemoi confirmed the incident, saying that Onserio had a violent past. In 2007, he was arrested for killing his first wife but was released just two years ago. This background made villagers suspicious when his second wife suddenly went missing.
According to police, Onserio was feared in the area and known for his cruelty. He is also accused of impregnating one of his daughters, who has since been rescued and is now under the care of concerned neighbors.

โWhen the villagers questioned him about his wifeโs disappearance, they forced him to lead them to his house,โ said OCPD Kipkemoi. โOnce there, they found body parts believed to be from the missing woman.โ
Enraged by what they discovered, the mob attacked Onserio, beat him severely, and set him on fire.
โThis man had a history. He killed his first wife in 2007, and thatโs why the community didnโt trust him,โ added the police chief.
The incident has shocked the nation and raised serious questions about how someone with such a violent record was released and allowed to return to the same community.
Police say investigations are ongoing as they collect evidence from the scene. Authorities have also urged residents to allow the law to take its course in future cases.
