Kenyan rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini, popularly known as CMB Prezzo, has confirmed that he is still determined to run for president in 2027. Speaking to SPM Buzz on Sunday, March 23, 2025, Prezzo revealed that he has officially launched his political party, Chama Mabadiliko Busara (CMB), to support his ambitions.

“I am the chairman of the party. Our emblem features two hands in handcuffs, with the chain breaking apart. This symbolizes the fight for freedom. Gen Z protests showed that young people have broken free from tribalism, and that is exactly what my party stands for,” he explained.

“Gen Z protests showed that tribalism is no longer relevant. By 2027, many young people will be voters, and my party will represent them. But fear holds people back—fear of failure, fear of judgment. Success is on the other side of fear. That’s why I created my own path and launched my own party,” Prezzo said.
