MP Oscar Sudi to Kenyans- “Ata mruke juu, chini, Ruto is not going anywhere!”
Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has dismissed critics of President William Ruto and their calls for his removal from office.
Speaking at a rally in Kibirech, Elgeyo Marakwet County, on Thursday, Sudi criticized online detractors, whom he referred to as “wakora” (crooks), emphasizing that despite their persistent noise, President Ruto will not be leaving his position.
Sudi mocked the popular online slogan “Ruto must go,” describing it as ineffective and pointless. He argued that such protests, no matter how loud or widespread, will not change the reality that Ruto remains firmly in office. In his speech, Sudi humorously suggested that the critics could jump up and down or try any antics they wished, but they would achieve nothing.
“Si mnajua wale wakora wa mtandao kule Nairobi? Wanapiga kelele ati sijui Ruto must go? Si mlisikia niliwaambia jana, waruke juu, waende chini, waende kando, hakuna penye Ruto anaenda,” he stated.
The MP also addressed the notion of leadership entitlement, asserting that no one has an exclusive right to lead Kenya.
According to Sudi, any Kenyan, regardless of tribe or background, is capable of becoming the President.
In a lighthearted moment, he even urged the North Rift residents to consider electing him as President in the future.

He emphasized that leadership in Kenya is not reserved for a specific group, but open to all citizens.
โSi mnajua wale wanajifanyaga, wanafikirianga lazima wao tu waongoze nchi. Hapana! Ata Mluhya, Mturkana anaweza ongoza; Mkenya yeyote ako na uwezo wa kuongoza. Si ata mimi mtanitanipa rais siku ingine?โ He posed.
Sudiโs remarks come amid growing dissatisfaction and criticism of President Ruto’s administration.
Over the past year, there has been increasing political opposition, particularly among younger generations.
Social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter), have become a hub for these frustrations, with hashtags like #RutoMustGo trending frequently as citizens voice their discontent with the government.
Despite these efforts, Sudi remains confident that such campaigns will not succeed in forcing Ruto out of office, reaffirming his support for the President.
