Kenyan Man Nabbed in U.S After Grisly Discovery of Woman’s Body in His Car

A 32-year-old Kenyan man was apprehended in the United States after authorities discovered the remains of a Kenyan woman in his vehicle on Saturday night, December 21.

The grim find came to light when the woman’s coworkers reported her missing after she failed to show up at work for several days.

Aberdeen Police Department officers launched an investigation to locate the 31-year-old victim.

During a welfare check at her residence at the Village of Kent Apartments in Bear, New York, police found no sign of her but noted evidence suggesting foul play.

“We identified several suspicious circumstances that heightened our concerns for her safety,” stated law enforcement officials.

Later that day, officers from the New Castle County Police Department in Delaware requested assistance in tracking a missing man described as “homicidal.”

Authorities eventually found the suspect’s vehicle in Aberdeen, with the owner nearby.

“On Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., officers from the Aberdeen Police Department responded to a request from the New Castle County Police Department in Delaware to locate a missing individual who was potentially homicidal,” the police report confirmed.

“Officers arrived at the 1100 block of S. Philadelphia Boulevard, located the suspect, and discovered human remains inside a vehicle. The individual was taken into custody.”

The suspect is currently held in police custody in Aberdeen, Maryland, awaiting extradition to Delaware to face murder charges.

Police also indicated that additional charges could follow as investigations progress.

The motive behind the altercation remains unclear, and the exact nature of the relationship between the two individuals, though they were known to each other, has yet to be determined.
