Where Has Mama Sarah Been? President Ruto’s Mother Steals the Show at Jamhuri Day After Mysterious Absence

Sarah Cheruiyot, the mother of President William Ruto, made a public appearance after being absent from recent national events.

Did Sarah Cheruiyot attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations?

Mama Sarah, a beloved figure in Kenya, is known for her presence during public holidays, and her fans were eager to see her at this year’s celebrations.

After being away from the spotlight, Kenyans were thrilled to see her by the president’s side on Thursday, December 12. The duo attended a State House luncheon, and their happiness was evident as the president introduced his mother to the guests.

A photograph captured the moment when President Ruto and his wife, Mama Rachel Ruto, introduced Sarah Cheruiyot to The Gambia’s President Adama Barrow.

Seated beside her was one of the president’s two sisters, adding to the warmth of the family gathering.

Mama Sarah looked elegant in a chic white dress, accessorized with a black hat, while Rachel Ruto radiated beauty in a green maxi dress with minimal makeup.

In the photo, President Barrow shared a warm embrace with Mama Sarah, followed by a few pictures before the Kenyan president joined them.

Later, the First Lady joined her mother-in-law, and the two shared a brief conversation.

Other family members, including Charlene Ruto, were notably absent from the event. However, Charlene shared a heartfelt Jamhuri Day message on social media, wishing Kenyans well on the national holiday.

Why MC Jessy branded Ruto’s advisors liars

In other news, MC Jessy recalled Steve Harvey’s anticipated visit to Kenya, which never materialized, and noted how such instances make the president look bad.

He branded Ruto’s advisers as liars and accused them of chest-thumping and misleading the president.

According to the comedian, Kenya still needs to invest in its art before hosting other international events.
