Husband of Missing Woman Found Dead with Soldier on His Bed Painfully Speaks
The husband of a married woman found dead alongside a soldier has shared the emotional turmoil, unanswered questions, and deep shame the incident has brought into his life.
Mercy Nassoro, a resident of Majengo, was discovered lifeless in a soldier’s bedroom. Her body, alongside the undressed body of the army man, lay sprawled on the bed, sparking widespread speculation. Â
Speaking to Mwananchi TV, her husband recounted his initial fear when his wife failed to return home. The grim discovery of her remains in the soldier’s house only deepened his anguish.
“I was away for two days. Upon my return, my children told me their mother hadn’t come home. I grew worried, fearing she might have been mugged, killed, or even arrested,” he shared.
His search led him to police stations and morgues, but it was his children who provided a crucial clue. “While searching, they called her phone and heard it ringing from the soldier’s house. When I checked with them, they confirmed the sound was coming from inside.”Â

Upon entering the unlocked house, he was met with a harrowing sight—his wife’s lifeless, undressed body lying beside the soldier, also in the same condition. He immediately called the authorities to take the bodies away.
Autopsy Reveals Cause of Death Â
The postmortem revealed that Mercy Nassoro died from a lack of oxygen. “Initially, I suspected she had been assaulted, but the doctor confirmed there were no physical injuries or marks to support that theory,” the husband explained.
Despite his pain, he has chosen forgiveness. “We lived together for 30 years and had a Catholic wedding just last year. I can’t fathom why she did this—it’s a grave wrong before God. But I have forgiven her and arranged a proper burial,” he added. Â
Shocking Discovery in Majengo Â
The deaths of Mercy and the soldier have left the Majengo community in disbelief. The undressed bodies were discovered in the soldier’s bedroom, leaving neighbors stunned and speculating about the tragic incident.
Police confirmed the event, stating that the soldier and the married woman entered the bedroom the night before their untimely deaths.
