Love Island Favourites Make Relationship Official After Leaving Villa
Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, finalists on LOVE Island, have taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
Samie, age 22, announced to her fans that Tom, age 23, is now her “boyfriend” after they enjoyed a romantic date night.
Sitting in the back of a taxi while loud music played, the beautiful real estate agent held Tom’s hand and laughed.
Tom, a footballer, smiled broadly in the video, which was posted to Samie’s Instagram Stories.
Alongside the adorable video, Samie wrote, “Everyone, this is my BOYFRIEND.”
Samie concluded her exciting post with one red heart emoji and four ‘laughing so hard I’m crying’ emojis.
Samie and Tom both entered the winter season of Love Island this year as bombshells.
However, the couple ended up falling in love in the South African villa and advanced to the final.
Samie and Tom finished third on Love Island, just behind the runner-ups, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins. They finished second to winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinananan.

When the smitten Islanders returned to the United Kingdom, they were greeted with an incredible homecoming party, but Tom was initially coy about his relationship with Samie.
In an Instagram video to his fans, he stated, “Samie will soon be my girlfriend.
“We are very private people, and this is something we would do just the two of us, but she will be my girlfriend without a doubt.”
However, it appears that the couple’s date at Gloria Trattoria, a popular Italian restaurant in Shoreditch, sealed the deal.
Samie was spotted in the upscale London restaurant with her man and a cocktail just hours before she confirmed Tom as her boyfriend.
She captioned the photo, “My favorite location with my favorite person.”
On their way home, Samie announced their ‘official’ status to her legion of social media followers.
In the meantime, Samie has responded to their co-star on Love Island, Casey O’Gorman, who took one look at the restaurant photo and referred to the couple as “Shrek and Donkey.”
