    Kenya Power Announces Planned Outages for Friday Across Nairobi, Kakamega, Homa Bay, and Kisii

    Kenya Power Announces Planned Outages for Friday Across Nairobi, Kakamega, Homa Bay, and Kisii

    Kenya Power has listed areas set for planned power interruption on Friday.

    The interruptions are done periodically to facilitate system maintenance.

    The utility company said the planned power interruptions will affect some areas in the four counties.

    They include Nairobi, Kakamega, Homa Bay, and Kisii.

    Nairobi 

    Areas will experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They are Kilimani Road, Menelik Road, Kirichwa Road, Adams Arcade S/Center, Ndemi Lane, Muringa Road and Elgeyo Marakwet Road.

    Kakamega

    Areas will have power outages from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include Khwisero Market, Mulwanda Market, Khumusalaba, Emukhusu, Khumailo, Kushiku Market and Emusungure Market.

    Homa Bay 

    Parts of Homa Bay to have power outages from 9 am to 4 pm include Gendia, Kambira, Nyahera, Gendia Water Pump, Liera, Ngoche, Nyafare, Simbiri, Otula, Kosele, Nyalgosi, Kiwiro, Namba Saye, Karabok, Kawere, Ongamo, Yala Kotieno, Namba Raeli, Kachieni, Nyatwere and Waradho.

    Kisii

    Areas in Kisii will have power interruption from 8 am to 4 pm.

    They areย Gesonso Police Station, Riamasagra, Iterio Complex, Suneka Market, Suneka Police Station, Ekerorano and Riana Dispensary.
