Serial Killer Suspect Confesses to Murdering Four Women, Including Child, in Nakuru

Police in Nakuru City have apprehended a suspect who confessed to the murder of four individuals, including a young child.

The suspect, Ezekiel Sakwa, allegedly killed the four women, whose bodies were discovered in maize fields just a few meters apart in Menengai Ward, Nakuru.

The victimsโ€”Alice Ayuma, Mueni Mwalimu, Vera Mugambi, and an unidentified fourth individualโ€”were found with severe injuries, including some missing fingers.

Alice Ayuma was the first victim found, her body was located in Rugongo Village, Menengai West Ward.

Less than a month later, Mueni Mwalimu’s body was discovered in another maize field nearby.

Mueni, a banker, had taken leave from work to address a family emergency, unaware it would be her final moments.

Her relatives found her body severely mutilated after a search. The autopsy revealed she endured significant pain before death, with her ears and thumbs removed while she was alive, and her arms dislocated.

Authorities indicated that Mueni’s body was placed at the scene cleanly, suggesting she was murdered elsewhere.

The following day, Vera Mugambiโ€™s body was found at Baraka Estate, also in a maize field.

Vera suffered severe head injuries and multiple stab wounds. Itโ€™s believed she was killed close to her home, where she lived with her family.

Her family reported that Vera had spent the day selling food and was last seen alive when she went out to collect payments in the evening.

In what appears to be a case of serial femicide, all victims’ bodies showed signs of mutilation.
