Sakaja Reshuffles City Hall Cabinet, Replaces County Secretary(List)
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has revealed a Cabinet reshuffle, redistributing five County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).
In his Monday evening announcement, Sakaja also appointed Godfrey Akumali as the new County Secretary, replacing Patrick Analo, who will continue in his role as Chief Officer of Urban Planning and Development.
As part of the reshuffle, Sakaja has reassigned Built Environment and Urban Planning CECM Stephen Gathuita Mwangi to the Boroughs, Administration, and Personnel position, taking over from Patrick Mbogo.
Patrick Mbogo will now oversee Built Environment and Urban Planning, transitioning from his previous role in Borough Administration and Personnel.
Brian Mulama has been moved from Mobility and Works to Talents, Skills Development, and Care, while Ibrahim Auna Nyangoya has been shifted from Green Nairobi to Business and Hustler Opportunities.
Rosemary Kriuki is now heading Inclusivity, Public Participation, and Customer Care, having previously been in Talents, Skills Development, and Care.

The reshuffle also includes changes among eleven Chief Officers. Geoffrey Mosiria has been transferred from Health Facilities to Environment, and Tiras Njoroge has been reassigned from Smart Nairobi to Revenue Administration and is now also the acting Chief Communications Officer for ICT Infrastructure.
Boniface Nyamu has moved from Mobility to Business and Hustler Opportunities, while Zipporah Mwangi has shifted from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Participation, Citizen Engagement, and Customer Service.
