Moses Kuria and Isaac Ruto Join Ruto’s UDA Party
Six political parties have officially joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), according to a statement made by the party’s Secretary General, Cleophas Malala.
He declared that the new members would be part of the UDA family and participate in all party activities.
The parties include Chama Cha Kazi (CCK), which is led by Trade Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria, and Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM), led by Isaac Ruto.
The other parties are Umoja na Maendeleo, led by former Embu governor Martin Wambora, National Agenda Party of Kenya (led by Alfayo Agufana), Farmers Party (led by Irungu Nyakera), and Economic Freedom Party (led by Issack Hassan Abey).

Malala called on the leaders of the parties to encourage their members to play an active role in building the UDA.
He praised them for their “selfless decision” and assured them that they had made a noble decision, saying, “My brothers, you will not regret this bold decision.”
The announcement came shortly after Moses Kuria dissolved his CCK party in October 2022 and informed the Office of Registrar of political parties (ORRP) of his move.
In summary, six political parties, including CCK and CCM, have officially joined the UDA.
The party’s Secretary General, Cleophas Malala, urged the leaders of the parties to encourage their members to participate in building the UDA, and he praised them for their decision.
Moses Kuria dissolved his CCK party in October 2022.
