Couple Crowned: Kai and Sanam Win Love Island 2023
KAI Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have been crowned Love Island 2023 champions.
After host Maya Jama revealed the results of the public vote, the emotional couple exchanged a sweet embrace and kiss, as if they couldn’t believe their good fortune.
Sanam wiped away tears as the couple kissed after their victory.
“I am speechless!” As the finalists flooded onto the stage, Sanam exclaimed.
Couple Crowned: Kai and Sanam Win Love Island 2023. Kai and Sanam, both 24 years old, defeated Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, both 25 and 26, and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, both 24 and 22.
Ron and Lana finished second, just behind the winning pair.
Even though the winning couple had been together for the least amount of time compared to their co-stars, Paddy Power offered odds of 1/3 that they would win.
Kai told Maya of his first impressions of Sanam, “She blew me away immediately.”
“My name has always been Kai. I’ve always said he was my number one,” Sanam continued, before accidentally dropping the L-bomb.
Sanam covered her mouth in shock after revealing in the villa that she had “fallen in love” with Kai.
Tom and Samie placed third, with Tom describing it as “the best experience of my life” and Samie as “incredible.”
Tanya and Shaq placed fourth and were the first individuals to be interviewed by Maya.

Shaq stated that the couple had “many plans” for the future, and Tanya concurred with Maya that they had “the rest of their lives”
After falling in love in Casa Amor, it was the 24-year-old winners who won over fans with their drama-free relationship.
Despite some upset caused by Kai’s ex Olivia Hawkins, 27, when she also returned with new partner Maxwell Samuda, the pair have enjoyed a smooth ride in the villa.
They were even given the seal of approval from each other’s families who visited them in last night’s show.
According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Kai’s mother and stepfather and Sanam’s mother and best friend demonstrated their approval of the couple.
“His mother and stepfather appeared genuinely pleased with his relationship with Sanam,” Betfair’s Darren stated.
“It appeared that they quickly bonded with Sanam’s family. Sanam’s family, on the other hand, were considerably more reticent, but they appeared willing to approve of her relationship with Kai.
On their final day in the villa, Kai and Sanam participated in a dance lesson with the other three remaining couples in preparation for the Love Island ball.
After attempting it herself, Sanam boasted to Kai, “Look how professional I am!”
