Free Advice, Exit Azimio – Kalonzo Musyoka Told
Thirdway Alliance Kenya party leader Ekuru Aukot has urged Azimio co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka to leave the coalition.
In a statement on Friday, July 19, Aukot told the Wiper party leader that he would save himself humiliation by exiting the Raila Odinga-led coalition.
“To Kalonzo Musyoka, here is free advice: leave Azimio to save yourself from further humiliation,” Aukot posted on X.
The former presidential candidate remarked about the chaos witnessed during the Azimio Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting on Wednesday, July 17.
In the incident, goons stormed the meeting’s venue at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation while Kalonzo had just stood to read out the meeting’s resolutions.

The goons started throwing away chairs while ordering the participants out of the venue.
This led to the Wiper leader cutting short his speech as the participants in the meeting scampered for safety.
Hours later, Raila issued an apology to Kalonzo and the journalists who were caught up in the incident, assuring them that action would be taken.
“The Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga regrets the events of yesterday (Wednesday) and takes this early opportunity to offer unreserved apologies to the journalists and fellow leaders who got caught up in the unfortunate incident.
“Hon. Odinga assures the journalists and fellow leaders that the coalition will take stock of the events and seal loopholes that led to the security breach to ensure that journalists and leaders remain safe and free at all Azimio functions, including those at the same venue,” read a statement by Raila’s spokesperson Dennis Onyango.
