High Court Judge Daniel Ogembo Found Dead Inside Residential Property
Siaya High Court Judge Daniel Ogembo was discovered deceased in his Siaya Town residence on the morning of Wednesday, July 17.
He served as the presiding judge at Siaya High Court until his passing.
Siaya County Governor James Orengo expressed the nation’s mourning for the judge.
“Justice Ogembo had a marvelous ability to listen intently, reflect quietly, and then interject, usually with a few words that brought clarity in the courtroom. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he mourned.
The Judge’s driver reported that on Tuesday afternoon, he had expressed feeling unwell despite maintaining his work schedule.
Unable to reach him via calls and texts on Wednesday morning, the driver sought assistance to enter his residence and verify his condition.
Although the Judge resided alone at the property, his family was alerted and hurried to the scene to gain access to the house and confirm his passing.
