Passing of Magdalene Kalembe, Nominated MCA and Wife of Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile

Magdalene Kalembe, the wife of former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile, has sadly passed away.

She was a nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Makueni County under the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party. Her untimely demise occurred on Tuesday night following a brief illness.

Family spokesperson Sam Ndile explained that Magdalene began feeling unwell on Thursday.

She was subsequently admitted to MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi, where her condition deteriorated. Despite receiving medical care, she succumbed to her illness while in the intensive care unit.

Sam Ndile elaborated on the timeline of events, noting that Magdalene fell ill while at the County Assembly on Thursday.

She then traveled to Nairobi for medical attention and was hospitalized. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse on Tuesday evening, necessitating her transfer to the ICU, where she eventually passed away.

Alfred Mutua, the former leader of the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party and current Tourism Cabinet Secretary, confirmed the tragic news.

He disclosed that Magdalene had been diagnosed with dengue fever and was receiving treatment for it late last week.
