Benny Hinn Repents for Hosting False Prophets: “I Wasn’t Wise Enough”(Video)
An Israel-American televangelist recently shared his reflections on the aspects of his spiritual leadership that he regrets.
Speaking in an interview with The Strang Report, he expressed remorse for his past decisions in allowing individuals who made baseless prophetic claims to take part in his gatherings.
Acknowledging fallibility, he admitted, “We all make mistakes.” Among his chief regrets in ministry, he highlighted instances where he lacked discernment regarding prophecy. He recounted instances where guests at his crusades delivered purported prophecies that ultimately proved to be harmful, both to individuals’ lives and to his own reputation, as these prophecies lacked authenticity.
Reflecting on the nature of prophecy, he emphasized the importance of staying within the boundaries of redemption. He asserted, “Anything that’s outside of redemption is not prophecy.” Admitting his own culpability, he confessed to allowing such occurrences in the past but emphasized that he ceased this practice years ago.
