Controversial Library Video Shows Naked Woman perusing Bookshelves
Police are searching for a woman who was filmed browsing a library while wearing only a face mask.
A viral four-second video depicts an unidentified woman disrobing in what appears to be Hong Kong’s Central Library before posing for the camera.
Local media reported that online critics were quick to criticize the woman’s lack of “ethics.”
One asked, “Where have traditional moral ethics gone?” while another asked, “What is with the people of Hong Kong?” Is the education system or society to blame?”

Others questioned whether she had filmed the incident for financial gain, and some demanded to know why law enforcement had not identified the offender and brought her to justice.
A spokesperson for Hong Kong’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department told local media that they did not know when or who posted the video, but that a police report had been filed.
