Kalonzo encouraged residents to back the Wiper Party, which he believes will lead the government in 2027.
He acknowledged residents’ concerns about stalled infrastructure projects like roads and dams.
The Wiper leader visited the county to console the family of his former aide Katu Munuvi, who recently passed away.
Kalonzo praised Munuvi as a dedicated individual and offered continued support to his family beyond the mourning period.
He reflected on Munuvi’s passing with respect, offering his condolences and wishing him peace.
Kalonzo’s political career dates back to the 90s.
He served as Kenya’s tenth Vice President from 2008 to 2013.
Kalonzo has held various positions under Presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki.
