Shollei’s 25-year marriage to her ex-husband, Sam Shollei, concluded in a divorce in January 2020.

Although they initially kept their marital issues private, the divorce became known to the public once finalized. Shollei noted she had three children from her first marriage.

“I had three children from that marriage and a fourth one, and that marriage ended,” she said.

Afterward, Shollei reconnected with Neil Horn, a man she dated during her university time at the University of Cape Town.

Their relationship attracted attention in 2020 when their photos surfaced on social media.

The couple married in a traditional Kenyan ceremony, followed by a white wedding in Cape Town, and then hosted a celebration in Kenya for relatives who couldn’t attend the Cape Town event.
