UDA MP Critiques Mudavadi’s Performance in Kenya Kwanza Govt: “Very Dismal”

Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku has accused Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi of underperforming in the Kenya Kwanza administration.

In a KTN News interview on Monday, May 6, Ruku stated that Mudavadi’s performance has been lackluster since his appointment by President William Ruto.

Ruku noted that Mudavadi’s main contribution has been creating the illusion of a united country by offering a political presence.

“If I were to evaluate Musalia Mudavadi’s performance in this government, I would give him a low rating. His only contribution seems to be providing a political face to unify the nation. In terms of the government’s performance, it has been poor, and I am not afraid to express that,” Ruku remarked.

Ruku emphasized that only President Ruto, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, and Interior CS Kithure Kindiki were actively working to guide the government in the right direction.

He urged Mudavadi to take more initiative in supporting the president instead of frequently visiting Western Kenya.

“The individuals who are genuinely working hard to ensure the government runs smoothly are the president, the deputy president, Professor Kindiki, and some other ministers.

However, we have not witnessed the prime cabinet secretary making a significant effort to assist the president in managing the government effectively. We urge Musalia Mudavadi to step up,” he concluded.
