Man Self-Immolates Outside Trump Trial Court in NYC
A man has self-immolated in a park near the courthouse where Donald Trump’s criminal trial is taking place.
Witnesses at the scene observed the individual tossing pamphlets into the air, then pouring lighter fluid on himself and igniting.
The New York Police Department reports that the man’s intentions are unclear, and he remains in critical condition at the hospital.
In court, a group of seven men and five women, along with six alternate jurors, have been officially established as the jury.
For the first time, a sitting or former US president is undergoing a criminal trial.
