    KPLC: 11 Counties to Experience Power Interruption Thursday

    KPLC: 11 Counties to Experience Power Interruption Thursday

    Kenya Power has released a list of areas set to experience power interruption on Thursday.

    The utility firm announced that some areas in 11 counties will experience scheduled power outages to facilitate system maintenance.

    The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado, Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Homa Bay, Kisii, Nyeri, Kwale, and Mombasa.

    The listed areas will experience power interruption at diverse times of the day.

    Nairobiย 

    Naivasha Road, Kikuyu Road, Waithaka, Ruthimitu School, Muhuri Road, Dagoretti High, Nembu School, Kagondo, Kiuru, Ndwaru, Gathondeki, Gichungo, DO Waithaka, Maono East, Mithonge, K-Rep and Equity Bank Kawangware will experience power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.

    Other areas to have power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm include Gandhi Avenue, Kodi Road, Summerdale Hotel, Sumba Road, Rio Hotel, Kisauni Road, Nairobi West Hospital, Madaraka Roundabout, Part of Muhoho Avenue, Muthaiti Avenue, Absa Nairobi West, and adjacent customers.

    At the same time, parts of Kawangware 46, Kawangware Sokoni, KBS Kawangware, Precious Blood School, and adjacent customers will also experience power interruption.

    Kiambuย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include parts of Limuru Town Shopping Centre, Githongoti, Kwambira Equity, Manguo, Ngarariga, Nyambare, Rufus, Ngarariga Girls, Murengeti, Nyambare and adjacent customers.

    Others are Whole of Ruaka Market, Getrudes Ruaka, Quickmatt Ruaka, Border, Slaughter, Kanungu, California Road, Equity Bank Ruaka, AAAR Hosp, Ruaka, Delta Ruaka, Joyland, Gacharage, Ndenderu, Citon, Kahingo Stage, Club Decimal, Royal Brain and adjacent customers.

    Kajiadoย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include Namanga Town, Bisil, Ngatataek, Maili Tisa, Kumpa, Meto, Maparasha, Kureket, Emutoroki, Lorgusua, Olgulului, Imarba, Partimaro, Kajiado Town and adjacent customers.

    Uasin Gishuย 

    Areas to experience power interruption from 9 am to 4 pm are Lingwai, Bindura, Chemusian, Chuiyat, Kipkabus Naiberi Resort, Sisibo Factory, Kapsundei, Flax, Wonifour Kaptagat Flax Naiberi, Cheptigit, Ole Engai Flowers, Sosiani Flowers Asai Flowers Bayete, Burnt Forest, Soliat, Kondoo, Cherus, Chereber, Kitingia, Olare and Ndanai.

    Trans Nzoiaย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include Kinyoro, Kisawai, Bondeni Kitalale, Parts of Saboti, Kaitet, Panacol, Marambachi, Rafiki, Shanti, and adjacent customers.

    Bungomaย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 4 pm.

    They include Hongera Millers, Pan Africa Chemicals, Kenols Kobil, Powe Gas, Butali Sugar, Tachoni Jaggery, Teressiapri Chebwai, Kivai, Matete, Chabadia Factory, Chimoi Market, Lwandeti, Kaburengu and adjacent customers.

    Homa Bayย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 3 pm.

    They include Kanyamfwa, Gogo, Okiki Amayo, Adhiro , OTaro, Lieta, Nyamwala, Nyangau, Kibigu, Kibaga, Kanjira, St Lucy Raluowa and Kakhdhim.

    Kisiiย 

    Areas to experience power interruption from 7 am to noon include Bosongo Hospital, Le Premier Hotel, Junction Hotel, Embonga Hotel, Magharibi Hotel and Mashpark Hotel.

    Nyeriย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 8 am to 5 pm.

    They include Whole Witima area, Witima Health Center, Witima Secondary, Kagunduini C/F, Kagumo Market, Kamuini C/F, Witima Health Center, Gaikundo Market and C/factory, Gaikundo Village, Mbari ya Ndiga Gaikundo, Gikira Hydro Auxilary, Mutitu Market and Ichamama C/Factory.

    Other areas are Zinc, Mihuti, Wanjee, Karundu, Kangurwe, South Tetu, Mukurweini Boys, Mweru, Muchatha, and adjacent customers.

    Kwaleย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include Tiwi, Hill Park, Ras Kikadini, Kombani, Maganyakulo, Matuga, Coast Calcium and Ngombeni.

    Mombasaย 

    The areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

    They include Coast General Sub County Hospital, PN Mashru, St. Elizabeth School, Jambo Hotel Chaani, Migadini, Port Reitz Hospital and Rubis Petrol Station.
