    US Govt Arrests Suspected Serial Killer Who Travelled to Kenya After Committing Murders

    On Thursday, a Rwandan man residing in the United States was apprehended on suspicions of his participation in the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

    The individual, aged 52 and of Hutu descent from Rwanda, stands accused of involvement in the killing of numerous Tutsis during the final years of the 20th century.

    As per accounts, following the atrocious act, the individual, who was a student in Rwanda, subsequently journeyed to Kenya.

    In 2003, the individual managed to obtain American citizenship by deceitfully claiming refugee status to the immigration authorities in Kenya.

    Following his entry into the United States, he relocated to Ohio and subsequently commenced efforts to obstruct any inquiry into his plot to commit murder.

    During his court appearance for arraignment in Boston, the prosecution highlighted his involvement in the killings through various means, such as using a club embedded with nails to strike victims on the head.

    As per the prosecution’s argument, the accused could subsequently use a machete to brutally kill his victims through hacking.

    The apprehension of the murder suspect occurred half a decade following the arrest of his ex-classmate, who was accused of immigration fraud for allegedly hiding his participation in the genocide.

    During its presentation before a federal court in Youngstown, the prosecution highlighted that the suspect and his peer were involved in the political maneuverings of a party that played a role in the genocide.

    The alleged perpetrator is additionally charged with identifying Tutsis among both patients and staff at a hospital before their murder.

    In addition to the homicides, the suspect is alleged to have incited sexual assaults during the harrowing Rwandan conflict.

    The individual had evaded authorities for three decades before being apprehended by US security agencies. He faced accusations of obstructing justice, committing perjury, and falsifying information.

    In 1994, a multitude of Rwandan civilians lost their lives following the instigation of violence by a faction of individuals, resulting in a genocide.
