KPLC: 7 counties to experience power interruptions Tuesday
Kenya Power has announced that seven counties are set to experience power interruptions on Tuesday.
The Power company said the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.
Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Kiambu, Nyeri, Uasin Gishu, Kirinyaga, Homabay, and Kilifi County.
Nairobi
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The areas include Kenyatta University, Kahawa Barracks, Farmers Choice, Kahawa West, parts of Amboseli Road, Convent Road, Loiyangalani Road, James Gichuru Road, Jacaranda Avenue, Mugumo Road, Ndoto Road, Mageta Road, Vanga Road, Mbaazi Avenue, Masanduku Road, Othaya Road, Gitanga Road, Muthangari Road, Lavington S/Centre, Maji Mazuri and adjacent customers.
Other areas in Nairobi include part of General Mathenge Road, Donyo Park Apts, Asmara Restaurant, Donyo Sabuk Avenue, One General Mathenge, Baobax, Azalea Square, Mascandi Luxury Cars, Spring Valley Total Petrol Stn, Donyo Sabuk Lane, Parts of Peponi Road, Tree Wall Apts, Lacas Apartment and adjacent customers.
Kiambu
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include part of Mugumo, Kiu River Primary, Shooting Range, St. Anthony, ACK Mugumo, Mugumo Catholic, Kiamumbi Rabat Road, Uganda Road, Chicago Road, Small Farm, Bwanji Farm and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
They include part of Chaka Town, Maisha Millers, Karundas, Thegu, Mbiriri, Maragima, and adjacent Customers
Other areas to have power interruptions in Nyeri from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm include Gaturuturu, Mathenge Technical, Gitugi T/Fact, Kihome, Kina TBC, Rwatheini Village, Gitugi, Giakairu Village, Konyu TBC, Kihome Secondary School, Kaharo TBC, Mugai TBC and adjacent customers.
Uasin Gishu
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
They include KenGen Station, Lower Sosiani, Leseru, Kaptiga Primary, and adjacent customers.
Kirinyaga
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Kagumo Town, Mutira Girls High School, Kabonge Center, Riakiania, Kiaragana, Gatwe, Karaini Market, and adjacent customers.
Homa Bay
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Gendia, Liera, Kideswa, Kosele, Simbiri, Nyafare, Otula, Goche, Nyahera and adjacent customers.
Kilifi
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The areas include parts of Bofa, Navy, Baobab Hotel, Kilifi Bay Hotel, and adjacent customers.
