Shock as Eldoret Man, 46 Years, Admits to Raping 28-Year-Old Male Colleague
On Friday, in Eldoret, a 46-year-old businessman shocked the court by admitting to the accusation of coercively raping a 28-year-old male coworker.
Patrick Imbali, brought before Senior Principal Magistrate Richard Odenyo, admitted to the offense without displaying any reaction to the impending punishment.
The allegations stated that Mr. Imbali sexually assaulted F.K. from March 1 to March 13 in Kambi Mwangi village, Turbo sub-county, near Elodret town.
Despite being cautioned by the prosecutor about the severe consequences of the crime he admitted to, Mr. Imbali persisted in asserting that he was responsible for raping the complainant.

“There is no secret, I indeed raped the complainant and even I know that we did that,” said the defendant.
Nevertheless, the prosecutor requested additional time from the court to thoroughly review the specifics of the charges with the accused.
“Since you have confessed to the charges, you will be detained at Eldoret Main Prison pending your return to court for the facts of the relevant charges to be read in detail as requested by the prosecutor,” ordered the Magistrate.
In the same courtroom, another individual admitted to possessing 49 rolls of marijuana and explained to the judge that he consumes it as a substance to enhance his abilities as a husband within his household.
“The cannabis found in my possession is not for business, but I use it as a drug to increase my strength to carry out my duties as a man at home among other duties of men like me,” Benson Mwangi told the court.
All cases will be mentioned on March 22.
