Man Kills Self After Hacking Estranged Wife and Daughter Near Police Station
Residents of the Munyaka area, Nyandarua County, were thrown into a somber mood on Monday, March 11, after a man killed his estranged wife and daughter.
According to reports, the man and woman were living separately, with the estranged wife renting a house near the Munyaka Police Station where she had been living with her children.
The man is said to have tracked down the wife to the new location before attacking her and hacking her to death with a crude weapon.
After witnessing her mother’s gruesome murder, one of the children, a form two student, ran outside to seek help from neighbors.
However, the suspect caught up with her, hacking her from the back, killing her instantly. The man later took his own life by hanging himself.
Some of the residents revealed that the couple experienced marital wrangles constantly which contributed to the woman moving out.
