Rogue Female Cop Assaults Colleagues Trying to Arrest Husband
A team attached to the Special Operations Group (SOG) was on Monday attacked by a police officer and her husband while manning the Sabaki Bridge in Malindi, Kilifi County.
According to a police report obtained by Gossipa2z.com, the couple approached the bridge and was flagged to stop by the special unit for a routine inspection.
They, however, did not oblige and continued driving. The SOG team intercepted the vehicle, forcing the couple to reverse and halt.
The SOG team requested the occupants to identify themselves by producing their identification documents.
However, the female officer inside the vehicle shouted that they could not produce ID cards to cops who were not traffic police.
According to the police report, the female officer stepped out of the vehicle and assaulted one of the SOG officers on the right eye while instructing her husband not to cooperate.

The female officer then wrestled another SOG cop to the ground who was on the verge of handcuffing her husband.
As a result, the assaulted SOG officers sustained injuries.
The female cop also sustained an injury on the right hand while her dress was torn due to the scuffle.
The SOG team received backup from other cops who managed to restrain the couple and ultimately ended up in handcuffs.
The duo was taken to Malindi Police Station to face three charges namely assaulting a police officer, obstructing police officers in the performance of duty, and creating disturbance.
If the female officer is found guilty, she shall face disciplinary action as per the National Police Service (NPS) Code of Conduct.
