Aisha Jumwa Remarks ODM Has Best Brains in Kenya for Policy Making

On Saturday, February 10, Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa stated that the most effective policymakers in Kenya belonged to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

In Busia County, the CS disclosed how different government agencies relied on intellect to develop operational plans.

Aisha Jumwa suggested that the area should explore strategies to leverage intelligence to secure prominent political positions.

“I was telling James Orengo (Siaya Governor) that most ODM supporters, especially from Nyanza and Busia are the most learned being engineers, lawyers, and esteemed professors,” she stated.

“They are the ones who contribute to everything. If you ask them to create a policy, they do it very well.”

She mentioned that the region should recognize that it is currently following an incorrect political direction, emphasizing the need for reassessment.

Jumwa figuratively remarked that when faced with an obstacle, the most sensible approach is to alter your path.

Therefore, she urged the residents of Nyanza to take a different political direction in the upcoming general election of 2027.

“The most qualified doctors, engineers … are from Luo Nyanza. The region boasts of all big brains in Kenya,” she remarked.

President William Ruto and fellow members of the Kenya Kwanza administration have consistently urged ODM to disclose their plan for governing the nation.

Kenya Kwanza suggests that rather than simply lamenting about the steep cost of living, the opposition should present alternative solutions to alleviate the challenges faced by the Kenyan population.

In November 2023, Raila suggested that lowering the taxes imposed on Kenyans could be a potential solution to alleviate the elevated cost of living.

Furthermore, he recommended President Ruto to boost productivity and reduce government spending by Ksh500 billion.
